Temecula Eq-Wine Riders
Formally established in 2006 Temecula Eq-Wine Riders Inc. "TEWR" is a non-profit trail riding club with a mission to preserve and utilize SAFE riding trails, while supporting the Equestrian Industry in Temecula, California. We are a community of experienced trail riders, social and business sponsor members. We share the belief that the preservation of Rural Lifestyles is a vital element of Temecula's Western Heritage. We organize trail ride events, training clinics, fundraisers and camp-outs, in addition to supporting efforts of our sponsor members, which align with our mission.
Our organization is committed to keeping Rural Farming and Ranching Lifestyles alive in the Temecula Valley. We work alongside other like-minded organizations and Riverside County to protect a safe multi-use trails network, as well as to support Southern California’s Equestrian Industry for generations to come.
We are proud of our Temecula Cowgirls Parade and Drill Team who volunteer as ambassadors for living the Equestrian Lifestyle to the general public. They represent our mission by performing at horse shows, rodeos, grand openings, parades and other public events. The Cowgirls work to educate the public and gain support for many Equestrian Causes. They led Temecula to the Tournament of Roses Parade for the first time ever, both times they applied, in 2020 and 2022
TEWR strives to introduce experienced horse owners to a fabulous time, both in and out of their saddles. Many of our members join Wine Clubs, a lovely place to end a beautiful ride. A club member of the California State Horsemen's Association (CSHA) since 2011, we are aligned with their organization's overall mission to support California's Equestrian Industry. We pay CSHA annual dues for all of our members and support their mission to preserve California's trails networks and the Equestrian Industry.
